Unusual Interview Questions I stumbled upon

You might have  heard people saying that you  got to think out of the box when it comes to developing great ideas, especially at your workplace. Companies today are likely  to hire such people and I decided to have a look at some of the interesting interview questions I could gather from different reliable sources. I wasn't sure if these were edited before it reached my hands, but I did enjoy them. Most of these are aimed to assess the creativity, personality, wit and intelligence of the applicant and  have been really asked to  quite a no. of people.

1. If you were a Star Trek or Star Wars character, which one would it be?

2. Why are manhole covers round? - Microsoft

3. How do you weigh an elephant without using a weigh machine?

4. Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 of how weird you are.

5. If you only had 6 months left to live, what would you do with that time and why should we hire you.

6. Given the numbers 1 to 1,000, what is the minimum number of guesses needed to find a specific number if you are given the hint "higher" or "lower" for each guess you make? -Facebook

    Ha! I love, absolutely love, posts like this. These bizarre ironies, these incongruent mystical riddles, these thought provoking inquiries make up the truly interesting part of life on this earth.

    My answers:

    1. Princess Leia, of course! How could it be any other? Well, maybe Queen Amidala (sp.?)

    2. They are round because grown men like to pretend they are still playing in those round tunnel things at the Playplace at McDonald's as they work. This accommodation of their desires increases productivity. Obviously, I have no idea.

    5. Don't hire m -- because I will take my family to the ivory coast, India, or some other place in need of help and live out my time submersed in helping those less fortunate than me and my family.
